Handover at lofty heights: TK Elevator Testtower Manager Beate Höhnle hands over 2,500 euros to Freundeskreis Wärmestube e.V.

Rottweil, 10 March. 2023 - As manager of the TK Elevator test tower in Rottweil, Beate Höhnle today presented a cheque worth 2,500 euros to the Freundeskreis Wärmestube e.V. (Friends of the Wärmestube). The circle of friends runs the soup parlour, a facility that serves hot meals to people in need every day. Here, helpers of all ages are committed to providing comprehensive support to people in need.
The sum that Beate Höhnle was able to hand over to the representatives of the Suppenstüble comes from the proceeds of licence sales for the Testturm brand. TK Elevator is the owner of the protected word and figurative mark ‘Testturm’ and has the exclusive right of use. Registered licence holders pay an agreed usage fee - which was intended for a good cause from the outset.
‘We are delighted that we can support important social projects here locally in this way and help organisations such as the Freundeskreis and institutions such as the Suppenstüble to provide active help - every day and with great personal commitment. Providing uncomplicated help where help is needed is also one of TK Elevator's corporate principles,’ explains Beate Höhnle.
The Suppenstüble offers its visitors a place to stay every day during set opening hours, as well as drinks, breakfast and a hot lunch at extremely favourable rates. There are also washing and shower facilities, clothes can be cleaned and medical care can be provided. Last but not least, the centre offers a communicative network for those affected with volunteers and other contact persons.
The Freundeskreis Wärmestube e.V. was founded by the Catholic parish of Münster, the Protestant parish, the AWO Rottweil and many volunteers. Professional advice is provided by employees of a specialist advice centre.
For the operators of the Suppenstüble, handing over the cheque is an important way of supporting their initiative and ensuring that those in need will be fed for the foreseeable future.
